About This Project

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please also check our Facebook page for any changes in schedule.

The Hermetic Study Group meets monthly on the 4th Sunday at 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.  The group is currently reading through the Corpus Hermeticum and the Asclepius. This is a joint venture in study between the Theosophical Society in the East Bay (aka Oakland Theosophical Society) and St. Raphael’s (aka The Liberal Catholic Church in the SF Bay Area).  First session was Dec 19th, 2015.

There are beginner and advanced Hermetic students in the group. Here is a link to the translation of the Corpus Hermeticum we are studying.
Suggestions for newcomers
  1. Please make sure you have your book.   It’s also available on Kindle.
  2. At the very least, if you are not as familiar read both of these first: WIKI 1  WIKI 2 .
  3. If you need to use Skype or Google + let us know ahead of time.  We have one person doing this already and until our bandwidth is upgraded. It will be limited to about 3 people and they will need to make sure their computers and internet speeds are adequate to handle the program.
  4. Email us if you intend to a) only stay on the email notice list for recordings of the sessions and email correspondence; or b) intend to join us with your physical presence.
